Molodist-46 announces its winners!
The 46th Kyiv International Film Festival “Molodist” awarded its winners. The ceremony took place at the Ivan Franko National Academic Theatre.
The Grand Prix and cash prize from Loto Zabava for 10 000 dollars went to the film by Jan P. Matuszynski “The Last Family” (Poland).
The winner of the International feature competition is the work of Guillaume Senez “Keeper” (Belgium, Switzerland, France). The Special Mention went to Zoran Boukherma’s, Ludovic Boukherma`s, Marielle Gautier`s, Hugo P.Thomas`s “Willy the First” (France) and main actor in "Heartstone" by Guðmundur Arnar Guðmundsson (Denmark, Iceland).
The best film in the International short competition is “Ascension” by Pedro Peralta (Portugal). “The Age of Sirens” by Héloïse Pelloquet received the Special Mention of the Jury.
The International student competition award went to the Canadian director Loïc Darses for “A Woman and a Car”. Special Jury Mention went to “The Noise of Licking” by Nadja Andrasev (Hungary).
“Blood Sausage” by Arkadii Nepytaliuk became the best film of the National competition. The film received a prize of $2500 and a certificate from UIA. The Special Mention went to Antonina Noiabrova`s “Everything will be all right”.
The main prize of Sunny Bunny was awarded to Marco Berger’s and Martin Farina`s “Taekwondo” (Argentina). Special Jury Mention - the film "Summertime", dir. Catherine Corsini (France, Belgium).
The main prize of “Molodist for Kids” and $2500 went to the film “Fanny’s Journey”, directed by Lola Doillon (France).
The FIPRESCI Award went to the film “Heartstone” by Guðmundur Arnar Guðmundsson (Denmark, Iceland).
The Ecumenical Jury gave their main prize to the film “Keeper” by Guillaume Senez (Belgium, Switzerland, France). In the International student competition, the award went to “Carry On” by Rafael Haider (Austria), and “Ascension” by Pedro Peralta (Portugal) received the award for the best short.
The Audience Award of the International competition went to film “Heartstone” by Guðmundur Arnar Guðmundsson (Denmark, Iceland).
Chairman of the Independent Association of Broadcasters Tetiana Lebedeva awarded a prize in the competition “Telemolodist” to Hlib Dobaryn (Channel 9) for the film “Yes! We can!”.
The winner Shoot&Play is Oleksandr Shymko’s “The Best Days”.
The winner of the section I feel Kyiv of the competition Shoot&Play is Mila Rodina and her work “Kyiv. Sky”. The prize is a certificate for accommodation at the art hotel “Senator”.
The 46th KIFF “Molodist” was held from 22 to 30 October. The program presented around 250 films from 80 countries.
